Will Google Remove a Negative Review?
YES, but only if it breaches Google Review Policy. Google’s review policy is summarised here:
Reviews that are negative or that you may disagree with, but adhere to the content policy, will not be removed.
If you report the review for removal, Google will consider it if there is a clear policy violation by the reviewer.
To avoid disappointment, be sure of the specific reviewer violation type before taking action.
If you believe a review is posted by a competitor, Google may listen, but evidence will be required.
Talking to Google can be useful, but you need to be able to show that the Reviewer(s) have clearly violated Google’s policy.

Other Negative Review Approaches
Here are some suggestions to handle negative reviews:
Approach 1 - Talk With Your Patient
If you know the reviewer and you feel they are reasonable, simply seek out the individual, address his/her concerns and then ask if they can delete the review.
Approach 2 - Engage the Patient Online
Google has a feature that allows business owners to respond to negative reviews.
If the negative review makes claims you can argue against, do so objectively, in a calm and reasonable manner using facts or other customers’ experiences as talking points.
Your goal in responding to the reviewer maybe to discredit their assessment or to paint a more complete picture. By addressing the Reviewer's issues you do run the risk of escalating the Review’s denouncements.
Responding in a cool and collected manner to a senseless rant can make you seem much more reasonable than the emotionally-fueled reviewer, and can cast an unfavorable light on the Reviewer, but we are not always happy with this approach.
If the Reviewer brings up legitimate concerns, work to address them and then let the Google community know you’ve made efforts to improve. Customers will appreciate this – it shows you care and are listening to their input.
We repeat, replying using Google Reviews ‘business response feature” is both risky and all communications are in public.
Approach 3 -Build Your Positive Reviews
Ignoring negative reviews and encouraging happy patients to write reviews on Google is the most common response, and with diligence is by far the most effective if you can not have the negative review removed.
The more positive reviews you have - the higher your star ranking will climb and will also help in pushing down any negative reviews and decrease their visibility.
